STEP UP CONSULTING offers professional Training and Development solutions for upgrading the efficiency and professionalism of employees for all concerns. Our bundle of services under the scope of Training and Development include Consulting, Facilitation/Training, Assessment & Moderation and workshops in various fields. Step Up Consulting provides coaching, mentoring and counselling throughout the learning process, especially as far as our Workshops for Women are concerned.
Thelma Louw, founder and owner of Step Up Consulting, is registered with ETDP SETA & SERVICES SETA respectively as an Assessor and Moderator and completed her studies on Skills Development.
Where applicable, Step Up Consulting align programs/course material to comply with National Standards as set out by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
STEP UP Consulting
- Develops custom made course material according to client specifications in the workshop field selected
- Offers existing course material to select from in various subject matter
- May offer courses in workshop format or include assessment tools in order to evaluate delegate grasp of information transferred
- Prepares delegates for assessments by means of set procedures where assessments are required
- Provide coaching facilities which is available after training is concluded
- Offers a methodology which is transparent. We are available during the process for discussion and clarification of subject matter
- Provide delegates with a course/workshop evaluation tool for feedback and improvement on services rendered
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
- Determine Individual and Departmental Training Needs by conducting professional assessments.
1.1.2 WORKPLACE SKILLS PLAN (WSP) & ANNUAL TRAINING REPORT (ATR)
- Workplace Skills Plans (WSP)
- Develop an action plan for completing the WSP/ATR
- Complete the WSP
- Complete the ATR
- Submit the WSP/ATR to the SETA
- Promote and monitor WSP implementation
- Evaluate the Implementation of the WSP
- Electronic Skills Development Programs available subject to a monthly licensing fee
1.1.3 Organisational
- Provide guidance in setting up a Training Committee
- Advise on methodology regarding training and development within a corporate organisation
FACILITATION
- Trainer available for facilitating workshops / courses outside the material provided by STEP UP Consulting Course/Workshop Development according to company specifications
