Workshop Fields

We are able to offer workshops according to client needs and specifications by providing guide lines in what is on offer to select from.

Our Workshops may comprise an informal presentation or full application where assessments are conducted after workshop completion.  Certificates of Attendance are issued.

1. COMPANY INDUCTIONS
Customised Induction Courses Developed in accordance with organisation/company specifics i.e. HR and SHEQ Requirements, Organisational Designations, Product Specifications and House Rules
2 HEALTH AND SAFETY
  • Hazardous Material Awareness (Accredited with SETA)
  • Asbestos Awareness (half day) – Accepted by DOL for training of staff from companies applying to become registered asbestos contractors or already registered asbestos contractors
  • A combination of course 1 and 2 above (Full Day Course)
  • Convey Dangerous Goods by Road (Accredited with SETA)
  • Confined Space Work (One Day Classroom, One Day Practical)
  • Integrated courses on all the above

2.1  Contracting services pertaining to hazardous materials –

3 CLEANING
Workshops

  • We offer various workshop modules to choose from – available to cleaning contractors for cleaner training and combined as per client specification.
  • Course duration may comprise one full day or presented over a period of days, depending on the modules selected.

4.1 Environmental Awareness – (Half Day Course)

 4.2.1 Waste audit / classification

The waste audit is a formal, structured process utilised to quantify volume and waste types generated.  Information attained from the auditing process will assist in identifying current waste practices and trends and how to improve.

4.2.2 Waste Management Tools

We offer sustainable solutions and guidance which includes the following:

  • Proposed full Waste Management Systems – including recycling, sourcing alternatives to landfill and developing on site/off site waste management systems for all aspects of waste streams.  This includes all hazardous waste types, general waste and recyclables
  • Ensuring clients comply with current legislation including all requirements from Department Environmental Affairs
  • Assisting with registrations on IPWIS as hazardous waste generators, ensuring certification is attained in order to attain proper permits for disposal
  • Assisting with client paper trails – completion of Waste Profile Sheets as a legal declaration from the client of waste streams produced
  • Conducting presentations/informative workshops on all requirements as far as waste management on all waste stream types generated is concerned
  • Conducting presentations/informative workshops on recycling, proper disposal or recycling of food waste and Environmental Awareness pertaining to the “cradle to grave” policy

6. SALES TRAINING
We offer one standard course as is or custom designed according to client specification pertaining to the sales environment and selling requirements within the organisation (Full Day Workshop)
